Registration
The Council registers all Clinical Officers upon successful completion of 1-year internship in approved internship Hospitals.
Licensing
The Council issues a practicing license to a qualified Clinical officer to practice both in public and private sector. Professional practicing license is renewable annually and is a requirement for all COs; and the Clinical Officers in private practice to renew their private practicing licenses annually. The renewal of both licenses takes in to consideration CPD points and observation of professional standards and ethics. The Council also issues an internship license.
